There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Scotland East Division, located in Livingston is looking to recruit a Inspections Manager to join the Division’s Customer Care department. The Role This role of Inspections Manager reports directly to the Head of Customer Care on all matters relating to Customer Care and after service/sales. Principal accountabilities of the role include: To carry out customer visits/inspections. To assess works required and manage rectification/ customer expectations. To ensure all reported defects are dealt with in a cost effective and timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customer. To assist with all NHBC claims/resolutions. Comply with Company Policies and Procedures at all times. To deliver the level of service as set out in the Bellway Customer Care Charter and to the standard as identified in the Bellway Customer Care Best Practice guide and to NHBC standards. Quality inspections and audits on pre-occupied plots. Appoint and manage sub-contractors/suppliers and any other relevant external bodies. Ensure that the company carries out its obligations under the NHBC warranty and undertake all NHBC resolution appointments/section 3 meetings. Experience, Skills and The Role Conditions Experience Trade/site experience preferable. Knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation. Knowledge of NHBC directive. Skills and Aptitude Strong communication and listening skills. Highly motivated and enthusiastic Ability to work on own as well as part of a team Willing to undertake further training Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines Committed to diversity and inclusion The Role and Working Conditions Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked. Ability to travel to development sites as and when required. Current and full UK Driving Licence required.
