BlueRinse is a subsidiary of Mudtech, who have provided geotechnical solutions to the construction, civil engineering and drilling sectors for well over 20 years. Mudtech Tank Division was formed more recently in order to deliver their BlueRinse family of products, which were developed from the realisation that Mudtech’s innovative range of chemicals and know-how for safety in tunnelling and shaft sinking could provide similar value in the construction and concrete industries.

From the outset, principles governing safety and compliance have been at the forefront of product development. Where appropriate, BlueRinse equipment is CE marked and backed up by thorough risk assessment and associated Declaration of Conformity. This includes, lift testing, compliance with electrical standards and assessment of risks that may be encountered in day to day use. A requirement of the Provision and use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) the whole assembly is CE marked as an assembly, not just relying the CE mark on the individual components.

The ever-growing BlueRinse family is made up of a range of innovative washout solutions for concrete, cement and grout, including;

- BlueRinse Concrete Washout. A game changer in the industry, it has been developed to avoid the high pH hazard (and associated burns risks) caused when combining or storing concrete, cements and grouts with washwater. It improves safety and reduces costs of washing down concrete chutes and equipment on-site. Utilising a closed loop system, BlueRinse can wash & recycle water indefinitely. pH is reduced at the washdown stage, meaning no hazardous water is produced, It is durable, easy to use and an ideal solution for confined or open work areas, helping the user to avoid generating, storing or transporting hazardous wash waste. The BlueRinse Concrete Washout is available to hire or purchase.

- BlueRinse Washdown Tray. Designed to complement the successful concrete washout system, it enables operators to washout equipment into a ground-level tray, easily and efficiently. It is suitable for skips, pumps and small site equipment; solids are easily shovelled out and the washwater pumped away for treatment or recycling. It can be used as a standalone tray, or combined with the BlueRinse Base Unit for a closed loop power wash facility with re-circulating water and pH control.

- DribblePot Wheelbarrow is a stable container, facilitating easy transportation and emptying of solids, without the water. It can be used standalone or with the range of DribblePot Inserts. The wheelbarrow can also be used alongside the concrete washout and wash down tray, offering ultimate peace of mind.

- DribblePot General Filtration Insert is a low cost, fully biodegradable & disposable filtration insert, with ‘Dribble’ flow. Designed to fit the range of DribblePot Wheelbarrows , it has many general applications and is ideal for separating small amounts of solids from wash water, emptying buckets and tubs or de-watering slurry. Our new BlueRinse DribblePot liner works in a similar fashion to the BlueRinse Nappy Sack, reducing pH as the water runs through the fabric; just right for washing out a small concrete mixer or dealing with a single concrete delivery.

BlueRinse Nappy Sack is the latest addition the the BlueRinse family. These self-dosing bags now have pH Blue impregnated into the fabric, and will reduce pH as water passes through them. They are designed for use in the BlueRinse Concrete Washout unit or stand-alone, supported in a Nappy Sack Frame. Each Sack will handle 50+ chute washes, and collected water will have a pH of approximately 8.5 with traces of calcium carbonate (chalk) precipitate. This will settle slowly or may be discharged in line with the customers site plan.

The BlueRinse Nappy Sacks are certified for 6:1 multi-lift, and have a polypropylene oil adsorbent liner with pH Blue powder felted into a sandwich, filtering to 20 microns.
