The University of Hertfordshire is conducting a tender exercise on behalf of Universitybus Ltd trading as Uno Bus, for the purchase of twenty two (22) single deck electric buses and 14 battery chargers with the associated charging infrastructure to be installed at our Hatfield depot (Uno Bus, Gypsy Moth Avenue, Hatfield, AL10 9BS).This tender exercise is comprised of two separate lots; Lot 1 is for the two-phased delivery of the 22 buses, with Lot 2 being for the 14 chargers and associated infrastructure, however, please note that we would also be open combined bids that cover both Lots 1 and 2 and as a full solution.

Lot 2 is for the installation of 14 chargers, associated charging infrastructure and charging management system to support the buses from Lot 1. We require 2 chargers to be installed ASAP at EVCS Points 12 and 13 (please note the cables and power connections are already present and installation/connection of the chargers is all that is required). The remainder of work required is detailed fully in the attached site diagrams and other supplementary design documents.
