BCP Council undertakes a rolling revaluation programme of General Fund and Housing Revenue Account assets, with Investment, Surplus, Charitable Assets and HRA properties (including Beacons) re-valued annually. Assets valued in any given year represent a cross section of the Council鈥檚 portfolio. Consequently, the assets comprise a wide range of property types and interests requiring a range of valuation methodologies.
The Council requires the valuations to be undertaken in accordance with the relevant current and future guidelines issued by The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
