This Contract will include Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and an emergency call out retainer. The successful supplier will also be required to deliver Reactive Maintenance, emergency call out visits and remedial works as a chargeable service. The provision for capital or emergency replacement shall also be included as a chargeable service where necessary.

In the event that any backup LV generator set or associated equipment (such as Automatic Transfer Switches, control panels, or fuel systems) is deemed beyond economic repair or reaches the end of its operational life, the supply and installation of replacement generator sets and related equipment will be considered an additional chargeable item. The contractor will provide a detailed proposal outlining the cost of replacement units, including all labour, materials, delivery, and commissioning. This will be subject to the university鈥檚 approval before any work is undertaken. Additionally, any upgrades to enhance system capacity or efficiency will also fall under this category.
