Contractors are invited to tender for the manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of RGB signs to replace the existing stock of legacy Variable Message Signs (VMS) and swing bridge warning signs including migrating 2G/3G communications to 4G where required.

The contractor and their employees should be registered with the Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) / National Highway Sector Scheme 8 (NHSS 8).

3.3 Operatives shall be Scottish Power (SP) Energy Network authorised to work on, or in the vicinity of, Distribution Network Operator (DNO) supplies, either directly or through the relevant Sector 8 scheme modules including G39.

Warrington Borough Council is inviting suitably qualified contractors to tender for the manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of RGB signs to replace the existing stock of legacy Variable Message Signs (VMS) and swing bridge warning signs including migrating 2G/3G communications to 4G where required.

Primarily the contract will comprise the replacement of all 20 No. existing VMS signs currently deployed at various locations through-out the borough, with new RGB equivalents.
