When the negative return system is floating, protective measures must be in place to protect persons against the risk of electric shock from dangerous voltages (touch or accessible voltages) between the rails and metallic objects or earth within the Overhead Contact Line Zone (OCLZ). At present there are a number of assets (exact extents unknown) which are located within the OCLZ within 1CC that were not electrically bonded when the system was 鈥渇loated鈥 in 2017.
