II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The University is looking for an installation partner to upgrade circa 1,000 existing access control doors, and circa 350 manually key locked doors across two campuses (City Campus and Frenchay Campus). The University is seeking a fully networked access control solution that will standardise the installation across the University and help futureproof for its SMART campus ambitions. The system shall be designed so that controllers and equipment are exchanging near real time information with any proprietary software.

Description of renewals
The installation contract will operate for an initial period of four years from February 2025 to February 2029 with additional options to extend for a further 2 x 1-year periods. The software licences will be for a minimum period of 10 years.
