L and Q is seeking suitably experienced suppliers to fulfil its grounds and tree maintenance across its estates. The scope of the GM services will include, but is not necessarily restricted to the following:• Grass cutting removing excess arisings • Grass maintenance to include weed control, litter and leaf removal• Horticultural maintenance to borders and beds to include weed control, litter and leaf removal• Pruning and hedge cutting• Replanting• Hard surface maintenance to include cleaning, litter, algae, moss and weed removal• Maintain and report on hard surface condition and safety, carrying out minor repairs • Inspect all external surfaces, structures and features reporting on their condition • External litter removal and bin emptying • Graffiti removal• Cleaning of bin stores and paladins (where a Site is not serviced by a separate cleaning contract)• Minor tree care • Dilapidation repair work• Woodland management works to include coppicing/thinning

L and Q expect a minimum standard of qualification to be held by the organisation's operatives. Please confirm if staff are qualified to the following standards using the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF):1. Operatives; RQF Level 1 (amenity horticulture, arborist, pest control etc.) and or/other relevant vocational qualifications.2. Skilled staff including gardeners/arboriculturists and supervisors; RQF Level 2 (amenity horticulture, arboriculture, pest control) and/or other relevant vocational qualifications.3. Managers and above; RQF Levels 3 and 4 (amenity horticulture, arboriculture, pest control) and/or other relevant vocational qualificationsL and Q expects the successful contractor(s) to be members of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and to maintain that membership during the life of the contract. &Q expects the successful consultancy to be corporate members of the Arboricultural Association and to maintain that membership during the life of the contract. Please confirm if your organisation is a corporate member of the Arboricultural Association. For Lot 4 (North West THT ONLY) - please note that membership to the Arboricultural Association is not mandatory However, "Technician" membership would also be acceptable (Lot 4 only)
