The University is inviting tenders from a suitable qualified and experienced provider for the provision of sustainable waste management services to Harper Adams University. Institutionally Harper Adams University is in its initial phase of embedding sustainability into its campus, curriculum and community.
The priorities in the next 24 – 36-month period are Estate Decarbonisation, Waste Management, Strategic Development, & Stakeholder Engagement. Within the organisations waste management provision, a clear & determined approach to implementing the circular economy principals and the 5 R’s refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose & recycle will be essential to achieve the necessary goals to be set to ensure a reduction of negative impacts on the local & wider environment. It is imperative that all Harper Adams University partners moving forwards in this sector share these values and strategies.
