The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") is conducting this procurement

process using the open procedure in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("PCR"). The procurement documentation has been made available following the publication

of the Contract Notice on the UK e-notification service.

Tenders are invited by the Council from Contractors with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Specialist Works (the "Works") under a proposed Framework Agreement.

The Framework Agreement will consist of 4 Lots:

Lot 1 - Damp Works & Miscellaneous Associated Works

Lot 2 - Timber Infestation Treatment & Miscellaneous Associated Works

Lot 3 - Mould Eradication

Lot 4 - Solid Floor/Minor Structural Works

The majority of the Works will be to social housing, but the Framework Agreement will also cover Works to schools and other associated council buildings. In addition to the Works, H&N may choose to procure specialist treatment works for larger schemes (estimated values 拢40k and above or more than 2 properties on the same footprint or block) by seeking competitive tenders/quotations/further competition for these works.

Whilst this Framework has been designed predominantly for Damp Works and Timber Infestation Treatment Works, successful Contractors will be expected to undertake the associated works within Homes & Neighbourhoods domestic housing properties. This will ensure that these Works do not have a detrimental effect on our tenants or on our KPIs for Void Properties.
