To improve its Shipbuilding manufacturing capability and capacity FMPG have a requirement to purchase a Small Semi-Automated Panel Line that will increase FMPGs throughput and quality performance in the manufacture of Rigid Panels.
Small Semi-Automated Panel Line .
The panel line to meet the following requirements: -
1. Panel Line to fit within 64m x 18m footprint (may
increase to 72m should the shed and current proposed
location be extended).
2. One sided welder, capable of joining 12.75m plates
with run off plates.
3. Plate thickness ranging from 4mm to 20mm.
4. Panel size 12.75 m x 20 m.
5. Mounting and welding of stiffeners.
Bulb bar, Min size 80 x 5, Max 430 x 20
Angle Bar, Min size 100 x 75 x 8, Max 200 x150 x 15
Flat bar, Min size 80 x 6, Max size 300 x 25
6. Mounting and welding of Web/ T- beams.

7. Extraction of welding fumes.
