II.1.4) Short description
Wolverhampton Homes are looking to appoint up to four established and competent contractors to a framework, to undertake detailed Property Condition Surveys in predominately occupied social housing dwellings across the City. These will include surveys required to carry out formal inspections and produce detailed reports arising from claims for housing ‘disrepair’, by third parties.
Reports will be required to respond to alleged breaches of, including but not limited to, the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, Environmental Protection Act 1990 and Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018.
The scope of works will predominantly include surveys and Part 35 compliant reports for the Landlord to respond to any disrepair claims brought against it under a range of housing legislation. Timber and damp surveys will also be included for complex cases or where the company requires an ‘independent’ report to provide additional assurance to the customer or Housing Ombudsman.
The term of this contract will not exceed 4 (four) years.
