In order to fulfil its duty to provide certain services at the Port, Foyle Port is inviting tenders for the provision of a mobile harbour crane or material handler to facilitate loading and unloading of ships alongside the quay and provide general material handling and cranage operations within the Port area, together with the provision of related services. The successful tenderer will be responsible for the manufacture, delivery, installation, commissioning and performance testing of the mobile harbour crane/material handler on-site at the Port, together with the provision of training to Foyle Port's employees and all servicing of the mobile harbour crane/material handler required within the initial maintenance period with an option for an extended maintenance period (as defined in the conditions of contract). The mobile harbour crane/material handler must provide capability to meet the dimensions of typical vessels up to c52,000 tonnes dwt, on any berth position along the main quay within the Port.

- reject any or all responses and to cancel or withdraw from this procurement at any stage,

Tenderers who wish to participate in this procurement will be required to provide contact details before downloading the tender documents. Tenderers who fail to provide their details to Foyle Port or register in this manner will not receive any clarifications or updated information provided by Foyle Port during the tender process. The costs of responding to this notice and participation in the process will be borne by each tenderer. All discussions and correspondence will be deemed strictly subject to contract until a formal contract is entered into. The formal contract shall not be binding until it has been signed and dated by the duly authorised representatives of both parties.
