II.1.4) Short description
Manchester City Council is responsible for managing approximately 12,470 homes in the areas of North Manchester, specifically, Ardwick, Charlestown, Crumpsall, Cheetham, Collyhurst, Harpurhey, Higher Blackley, Moston, and Newton Heath.
Manchester City Council wishes to procure and enter into a contract for the completion of the servicing, maintenance and repair of solar panels and associated equipment across 988 houses as well as 22 blocks of flats and 2 offices. The appointed contractor will be required to liaise not only with Manchester City Council but also with equipment manufacturers and other contractors appointed by Manchester City Council. In addition to the repair service there is a requirement to develop and undertake a program of preventative maintenance checks on all equipment.
