II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Milton Keynes College are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified structural & civil consultant on a retained basis. The period of the appointment will run for three years from 4 July 2024. This contract will contain a break clause after 12 months and for the possibility of a 12-month extension beyond the three years.
Following recent successes in gaining grants for several prestigious new build and refurbishment projects, it is anticipated that over the period of appointment there will be a requirement to provide effective and timely consultant services. To allow the college to react without delay to all opportunities the consultant team will be required to provide input without delay. To support the lead designer, tenders to provide mechanical/electrical; cost and civil/structural engineering services are also being obtained.
