The award winning E-ACT Multi Academy Trust is tendering the cleaning services in 35 Academies between London, Bristol, Birmingham, Daventry, Oldham and Sheffield. There are two Lots, one South with 18 Academies and one North with 17 Academies. The Trust supports many deserving communities in England. The current contract is supported by Cleantec, Purgo, Atlas FM and four inhouse operations. With 35 Academies and over 18,550 students on roll in E-ACT; plus 2,292 students in the 6 Venturers Trust Schools and over 2,500 staff, this is an exceptional opportunity.The Venturers Trust are joining E-ACT by September 2024. Should this merger be delayed for any reason then the mobilisation of the six Venturers Trust Academies will be delayed proportionately, with Venturers Trust remaining the signatory for that segment of the contract. II.2.4) Description of the procurement

There are two Lots, one South with 21 Academies and one North with 14 Academies. The Trust supports many deserving communities in England. The current contract is supported by Cleantec, Purgo, Atlas FM and four inhouse operations. The Venturers Trust are joining E-ACT by September 2024. Should this merger be delayed for any reason then the mobilisation of the six Trust Academies will be delayed proportionately, with Venturers Trust remaining the signatory for that segment of the contract. This will allow the contract for the other Academies in the Southern Lot to commence in January 2025.There are 35 Academies in the tender and over 18,550 students on roll in E-ACT and 2,292 students in the 6 Venturers Trust Schools, plus over 2,500 staff. The Trust is tendering its cleaning services and is seeking a professional cleaning contractor to deliver an excellent level of cleanliness in every Academy every day. There are a number of LGPS pensions in the Academies and either having Admitted Body Status, or the ability to achieve it, is a mandatory requirement of the tender and the contract.The contract is scheduled to commence on 1st January 2025, initially spanning three years with an option for both parties to extend the contract for a further two years, (3+1+1) beyond this date by mutual agreement. Any contract extension will be subject to the Trust鈥檚 satisfaction and agreement on budgets and service levels. The estimated turnover for the entire five-year duration is approximately 拢10,500,000.The contract is focused on consistently high levels of cleaning service and pro-active management. Regular termly and annual reviews throughout the contract duration are mandatory, and a break clause should be included to support both parties in case the relationship does not thrive.
