As part of their annual highway maintenance programme, Northumberland County Council (NCC), produce several thousand tonnes of asphalt waste containing coal tar (AWCCT) 17 03 01* per annum. In addition, there is currently several thousand tonnes stockpiled at a number of S2 locations countywide. NCC are seeking to appoint a Contractor to recycle this AWCCT and provide Cold Recycled Bound Material (CRBM) and Hydraulically Bound Material (HBM).
