Charles Church South Midlands is developing the site as part of a 拢100m regeneration of the area.
Charles Church is investing 拢20m in the construction of 98 executive homes 鈥 鈥渆ach built with a special arts and crafts theme and designed to reflect the local history and unique situation of the site鈥 鈥 the builder says. Charles Church is also putting in a new cricket pitch and pavilion to create a village green style setting three miles from the centre of Birmingham. It is calling the development The Oval.
Andy Peters, managing director of Charles Church South Midlands, said: 鈥淭hese are very exciting times for Selly Oak and we are investing 拢100m into the regeneration of this iconic site, with around 拢20m on this first phase.鈥
