A design and build team of Turner, Gensler and Farnsworth Group has been working with Caterpillar employees to develop the scheme.
Caterpillar has now revealed a six-block campus design that spans 31 acres near the Peoria Riverfront.
Contractor Turner is starting to look for subcontractors to work on the project.
