The scope of work for Willmott Dixon Interiors includes provision of new galleries with space to accommodate one permanent and two temporary exhibition areas, as well as learning spaces, a library, auditorium, office areas and a new restaurant. It will provide 10,000m虏 of total space, 400m虏 of which will be devoted to learning facilities.
Willmott Dixon Interiors chief operating officer Mike Hart said: 鈥淭his is a high-profile and prestigious project that will see the Design Museum become one of London鈥檚 biggest attractions when we complete the fit-out, with over 500,000 visitors expected annually.鈥
