The new British Offsite factory will house production and distribution of building components for house-builders, including its UniPanel system of light gauge panels, walls, roofs and floors. It will also offer internal fitout modules, including bathroom, kitchen and bedroom fittings, sold under the BOS Fitout brand.
The factory, scheduled to open in late 2022, is at the Horizon 120 Business Park in Great Notley, Braintree.
The 拢6m production line is being installed by Swedish contractor Randek.
British Offsite was established by Weston Homes in January 2019. The new Braintree building is an expansion of an existing 75,000 sqft facility and head office at the nearby Skyline Industrial Estate.

聽British Offsite has recently used its UniPanel system for construction of the 14-storey (50-metre high) 拢53m Victoria Central apartment building in Southend-on-Sea, completing the envelope of the tower in 30% less time than using traditional building methods, it said.
