The 拢52.8m contract includes the construction of 75 homes for private sale, 66 homes for affordable rent, ten wheelchair adapted units, and additional retail and commercial spaces. There will also be a 52-space underground car park.
The tower block will be at Abbey Road and Belsize Road in Kilburn and forms part of the council鈥檚 15-year housing plan.
Wates recently completed 拢4m of enabling works on the site and has now started the main work on site. The project is being delivered over a 98-week build programme.
Overseeing the project for Wates is Glen Roberts, who recently joined from Mulalley as project director.
