He will be responsible for growing Turner & Townsend鈥檚 client footprint, and strengthening its capabilities in the hi-tech, retail and corporate real estate markets within the region.
Townsend will be relocating to Hong Kong from the company鈥檚 head office in Leeds, where he was managing director for UK cost management.
The move follows the merger with Hong Kong-based HA Brechin & Co in March this year. Duncan Stone, Asia managing director, said: 鈥淣ortheast Asia is a significant growth market for Turner & Townsend, and our merger with H.A. Brechin strengthened and broadened our local service offering.鈥�
