T&T wins fit-out role at German Embassy in Israel

5 Apr 17 Turner & Townsend has been appointed to deliver the fit-out of the German Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, as part of a four-year framework.

The firm is responsible for providing general planning services, including project as well as cost and commercial management on the 5,500m2 renovation.

The project is the second to be commissioned as part of the global framework for Germany鈥檚 embassies and consulates.

The project, to refurbish 5,500m虏 of new office space over five floors including parts of the entry lobby area on the ground level, is being delivered by the consultancy鈥檚 team in Munich. The specific role involves general planning services, including project and cost and commercial management, design services, and managing controls and performance.聽 A local partner is also providing support and the project is due for completion by the end of 2018.

The German embassy in Israel is one of the approximately 230 German diplomatic and consular representations abroad. The work in Israel follows a similar role for the new German consulate in Cape Town, South Africa.
