The new SD2500WS joins a Dynapac F121 that Tolson already owns, as well as the first ever Dynapac F6 to be sold in the UK.
First job up for the new machine is laying 6,000 tonnes at Iggesund Biomass, a new paperboard biomass mill in Workington.
Alan Tolson, partner in the surfacing firm, explained why he chose the SD2500WS: 鈥淲hen it comes to the big machines, Dynapac can鈥檛 be beaten. I wouldn鈥檛 go anywhere else. I like it and more importantly, the workers like it. It鈥檚 far more usable than competitor machines, the toggles on the control panels at the back of the machine offer far better control than the buttons on competitor machines where it鈥檚 all too easy to make a mistake.鈥
