Dunkerley has relocated from the Johannesburg office to front the new role, bringing with him more than 25 years鈥 experience of delivering multi-million pound projects across Africa and the UK for both government and major private businesses.
Anooj Oodit, managing director Australia & New Zealand said: 鈥溾淗is move is timely and coincides with the company鈥檚 plans to significantly expand its footprint across New Zealand. The country is a mature market which could benefit from both our local market knowledge and expertise with clients across the globe in infrastructure, property and natural resources.
鈥淪everal of our major corporate global clients already work in New Zealand. It was a natural progression for Turner & Townsend to expand the business locally and service these clients.鈥
Dunkerley said: 鈥淚 will be exploring opportunities for the business in the health, education, banking, IT and infrastructure sectors to expand Turner & Townsend鈥檚 client base and become the number one trusted partner in the delivery of high-value projects and programmes in New Zealand.鈥
