It is the first use of the software in the energy sector.
The energy plant is being built by Multifuel Energy 鈥� a joint venture between power station owner SSE and process contractor Wheelabrator Technologies. Main contractor is Hitachi Zosen Inova.
Sypro is a Yorkshire-based company. Managing director Simon Hunt 聽said: 鈥淭his is a local project which we are really excited about. It鈥檚 also great to work with a large plc like SSE.
