Construction company Stepnell has completed the refurbishment of a Grade II listed building in Banbury, Oxfordshire, for property investment company Jelmac Estates Ltd.
Stepnell鈥檚 specialist maintenance team carried out a substantial upgrade and refurbishment of the two-storey, 18th century building in Horsefair, Banbury, to create modern office accommodation. The improvements included the reinstatement of period features including doors, cornices, window shutters, skirting boards and picture rails. The building benefitted from a new condensing boiler together with new radiators and low-energy light fittings. Stepnell redecorated the net internal 1,918 sq ft聽 premises internally and externally in period and corporate colours to the approval of the new tenant, addressing all the internal and external renovation work to the approval of the Conservation Officer.
