CCsec has estimated that employing a security guard, costs around 拢8.50/hour, 拢918.00/week and 拢48,654/year (based on 108 hours per week). By comparison, a technology based security solution utilising a four CCTV camera system, including monitoring, key holding and with a professional response unit on stand-by, will cost 拢1.49/hour, 拢250.00/week and 拢13,000.00/year.聽 Over five sites that is 拢178,000 every year! Over five years that's ONE million pounds!!
The turnkey construction site security specialist is proposing that technology based systems can also effectively double-up as a site management tool at no extra cost. Carl Clarke, Managing Director of CCSec explains:
