Stanmore hospital deal adds to Miller’s ProCure 21+ tally

4 Dec 13 Miller Construction has won a £10m contract to extend a hospital in Middlesex.

The contract will provide two new residential blocks at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital [RNOH] in Stanmore, as well as clinical refurbishment works to a number of wards, pharmacy and out-patients unit.

The contract was awarded through the ProCure 21+ framework, taking the value of contracts secured by Miller on the national framework for new build and refurbishment of NHS facilities to 拢50m this year.

Miller is on site at the RNOH, the UK鈥檚 leading orthopaedic hospital, delivering a number of enabling works projects.聽 Works have been completed to underground services and a range of infrastructure projects, including construction of new car parks, access roads and an estates compound.

Related Information

In addition to the RNOH contracts other projects secured by Miller through the Procure 21+ framework this year include:

  • A 拢14m estates development and 拢8m small works programme for Croydon University Hospital, South London.
  • A 拢10m infrastructure and small works programme at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge.
  • An 拢8m programme of works for Mid Staffordshire Hospital, which will include the relocation and refurbishment of the endoscopy and decontamination unit.

This latest contract builds on the strong collaborative approach we have developed with the RNOH Trust team which has laid the foundation for the successful relationship on the works delivered to date.
