Bill Oliver, St Modwen's current chief executive, retires on 30th November 2016 after 16 years on the board. Mark Allen will join at the beginning of that month for a short handover period.
Mark Allen, aged 43, has been chief executive of Unite since 2006. He joined Unite in 1999 from KPMG and was chief financial officer from 2003 to 2006.聽

The timing of this appointment allows for a smooth handover process and we look forward to welcoming Mark to the board."
Mark Allan will be succeeded at Unite by Richard Smith, who has been the company鈥檚 managing director of operations since 2012
