Quick Reach plans to retain Specialized鈥檚 facility in Wishaw, near Glasgow, and has transferred all former Specialized Access employees to Quick Reach.
Specialized Access was previously owned by IAPS Group, whose core business is machine and parts distribution. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Specialized Access brings Quick Reach a fleet of tracked boom lifts from brands including Hinowa and Omme Lift, plus Isoli truck mounted booms on 3.5-tonne Nissan Cabstar chassis.
Quick Reach director and co-founder John Barton said: 鈥淭his acquisition enables us to expand into Scotland and further enhances our fleet mix, thanks to the addition of the latest tracked and truck-mounted booms.
