Six contractors – BAM, Galliford Try, Kier, Morgan Sindall, Wates and Willmott Dixon – have been selected for all three lots of the Southern Construction Framework for Major Works.
The pipeline of work has an estimated value of between £2.4bn and £3.9bn over its four-year term. It is for contracts valued at £1m upwards.
The Southern Construction Framework brings together three existing frameworks: Construction Framework South West (CFSW); the iESE framework (SE); and a new framework for London serving the construction needs of public bodies. It starts in April 2015.
The framework is open to all public sector organisations in the southwest and southeast of England, including the capital, to procure new build or refurbishment projects including education, care, civic offices and leisure projects.
