It will be working in joint venture with JayDee on the First Street tunnel project for the District of Columbia Water & Sewer Authorities. Skanska鈥檚 share of 60% is worth US$94m (拢58m).
Tunnels and shafts will be built under the project, which is designed to provide flood water mitigation in the communities of Bloomingdale and Le Droit. Work is expected to be completed in the second quarter 2016.
