For the year ending 31st December 2016, Garic grew revenue by 12% to 拢22m, in line with its three-year growth plan. Profits were not disclosed.

Recent contracts include the supply of construction site welfare facilities to Chinese contractor BCEGI for its Middlewood Locks Development in Manchester. This 24-acre regeneration scheme has so far taken a bespoke two-storey 68-bay 鈥榲illage鈥 consisting of stacked and interlinked welfare and office units. Within this modular complex, Garic has incorporated a fully equipped kitchen, 180-seater canteen, open plan office spaces which can accommodate up to 250 site workers and 60 office staff, changing and drying rooms, showers and toilets.

Garic is part of the 拢1.5bn turnover Bibby Line shipping company.

Garic managing director Colin Hotchkiss said: 鈥淲e made fantastic progress in 2016 and 2017 has started very positively indeed. Over the past 12 months we鈥檝e made significant strides in delivering our business strategy which has resulted in growth across all areas of the company and we鈥檒l continue to invest in our people, fleet, depots and transport infrastructure to support this.

聽鈥淎 further 拢7.2m investment has been earmarked for 2017 鈥 this is on top of the 拢8m spent last year 鈥 and we plan to open more depots following the successful introduction of our Midlands branch last March.鈥

He added: 鈥淲e already have one of the largest and fastest growing welfare fleets in the UK and with our expansion plans it looks like we鈥檙e in for another busy year.鈥
