Sika founded its own subsidiary in Mozambique in 2014. The acquisition of Duro-Moza is intended to provide Sika Mozambique with an ideal start in the market, giving immediate access to its own production facility and to an established customer base in the fast-growing construction sector. Maputo-based Duro-Moza generated sales of CHF2m (拢1.5m) in 2014 from a range that includes plasters, tile adhesives, grouting and concrete repairs.
