The projects for Paradigm Housing and The Hyde Group cover a variety of works on affordable and sheltered housing developments across London, East Sussex and Kent.
The largest is a 拢7m project for Paradigm Housing in East London, involving the redevelopment of Lea Bridge House, a 10-storey hostel for homeless people. Two single-storey wings of a 10-storey tower will be demolished and replaced with two new-build hostel blocks, providing additional bedrooms and communal facilities.
Rydon also has a 拢6.1m contract to redevelop Frognal Place in Sidcup. It will refurbish and reconfigure 82 apartments in 11 blocks, originally built as NHS accommodation for staff at nearby Queen Mary鈥檚 Hospital. These will be fitted out for shared ownership and intermediate rented accommodation for The Hyde Group.
