It will be world鈥檚 largest offshore overhead gantry crane, according to Enerpac.
The crane has been ordered by a consortium of Bouygues Travaux Publics, Vinci Construction and Demathieu Bard Construction and will operate from a barge being used to construct the offshore highway.
The barge will be used to pick up concrete precast foundation elements聽 - gravity base, pile head and segments - at the harbour and position them on the seabed. The Enerpac crane will make at least 200 foundation block lifts.

The crane is being built at the Enerpac Integrated Solutions manufacturing facility in Hengelo in the Netherlands.
