The go-ahead for the project came after the housing association secured almost 拢2.5m from the Homes & Communities Agency to develop 30 empty properties under its empty homes programme. Raglan is working with Southampton City Council to deliver the new accommodation.
The Orchard House redevelopment will also benefit from the government鈥檚 new permitted development rights, which allow the building to be converted into housing using a streamlined planning permission process.聽
