The new campus is the biggest capital project ever undertaken by East Ayrshire Council. It will provide more than 2,000 secondary, primary and pre-school places for the communities of Cumnock, Auchinleck and surrounding areas. 聽It will incorporate Barshare and Greenmill primary schools, Hillside ASN School, Auchinleck Academy and Cumnock Academy.
Sheppard Robson was appointed architect for the project earlier this year.
Subject to completion of all necessary consultations and procurement procedures, construction is planned to begin in July 2017, with a planned opening scheduled for 2019.
