Stephen Beechey is promoted from managing director for education and investments to group strategy director and managing director for government affairs. He also takes charge of all group communications and corporate affairs.
Mr Beechey joined Wates in 2010 from Laing O鈥橰ourke. He has also previously worked for Jarvis and Carillion.
At Wates, Mr, Beechey is credited with the creation of the contractor鈥檚 Adapt Schools Solutions model, designed to reduce the cost of school buildings.
