The school, in White City, London, caters for children who have severe learning difficulties and disabilities. The 拢1.2m state-of-the-art facility is the first of its kind in the borough, and will help children develop communication, interpersonal, cognitive and physical skills.
The Prime Minister, whose son, Ivan, attended the school, said: 鈥淭hese special schools play such an important role and I know that so many parents are incredibly grateful for the work that they do. When Ivan was here, Jack Tizard was such a huge support and I am delighted to be here on such a special day.鈥�

Councillor Helen Binmore, Hammersmith and Fulham鈥檚 cabinet member for children鈥檚 services, said: 鈥淭he hydrotherapy pool looks fantastic and the children and young people should have a great time in the water. This is a wonderful new asset for the borough and I hope pupils will enjoy and benefit from this sensory learning experience.鈥�
