NSS was created in 2019 from the merger of Nationwide Window Cleaning and High Access with the backing of BGF (formerly the Business Growth Fund). It also includes Falkirk-based platform hire company Outreach Access and the former truck-mounted platform business AA Access.
In the year to June 2020 it made a pre-tax loss of 拢3.7m on turnover of 拢27m. The year before (pre Covid), it lost 拢6.8m on 拢32m turnover.
The acquisition of Nationwide Specialist Services by Premier Technical Services Group creates a combined business employing 2,300 people across 47 sites.
Headquartered in West Yorkshire, PTSG is jointly owned by Warburg Pincus and Macquarie Capital Principal Finance. 聽It has five divisions: Access & Safety, Electrical Services, Building Access Specialists, Fire Solutions and Water Treatment.
In the year to December 2019 PTSG made a pre-tax loss of 拢2.0m on revenue of 拢134m.
