Developed by BHE Property Developments Ltd, a subsidiary of the Sunley Group of companies, the four-storey scheme comprises 74 unit studio apartments over three floors and ground floor retail accommodation. The brownfield site, on one of the main arterial routes into London, was previously occupied by a derelict filling station and the Pascal & Watson designed scheme will be a welcome addition to the vibrant local community.
The student accommodation specialist is due to begin construction of phase two of the scheme in mid April while brickwork and roofing of phase one is ongoing.聽 The entire development is due for handover in early September, in time for the 2011/2012 academic year and the retail space has already been pre-let.
