State governor Andrew Cuomo announced that Hamister Group is moving forward with its plan to build the 10,300m2, 128-room hotel, which will be area鈥檚 first non-casino new development of this scale in more than 40 years.

I am proud to see this project under way and encourage residents and visitors alike to take a trip and experience all this region has to offer for themselves.鈥

The project will also include 1,350m2 of meeting and banquet space - including an outdoor patio - on the top floor and nearly 650m2 of retail space.
