Developed in close consultation with some of the industry鈥檚 biggest employers, the programme includes a range of management and leadership training courses for supervisors, managers and directors of companies to help them guide their businesses through these challenging times, as well as a range of new plant operations and maintenance packages to increase efficiency on the shop floor.
New courses include:
- Strategy; 聽
- Foundation Degree in Construction Site Management (FdSc); 聽
- Construction Site Supervision QCF (NVQ) Level 3; 聽
- Construction Site Management QCF (NVQ) Level 6; 聽
- Track and Undercarriage Inspection; and 聽
- Wastemaster Operator Training Wheeled Loading Shovel
The NCC now offers more than 200 training courses and bespoke packages across 10 different disciplines including Scaffolding and Access, Plant Operations, Health and Safety, Management and Leadership and Sustainability. In addition, a host of specialist training courses are available including drainage, paving, kerb laying, excavation support, piling, concrete practice and street works.聽
Some of the most popular courses include Site Management Safety Training Scheme, Site Supervisors鈥 Safety Training Scheme, Scaffolding Parts 1 and 2, and S/NVQ 2 Practical Assessment - Tube and Fitting or System.聽

Supporting the skills development of workers in Construction and the Built Environment, the new programme forms part of CITB-ConstructionSkills鈥 ongoing efforts to help industry meet its productivity challenge.聽

As the direct training division of CITB-ConstructionSkills, the National Construction College offers outstanding training to young apprentices and adult students for a wide range of specialist courses, which are delivered by experienced instructors at first class training facilities. The College鈥檚 seven campuses and additional venues throughout the UK provide training for up to 30,000 people per year.聽聽
