The work for Bela Partnership is on the Priors Hall project in Corby. Hewlett managing director Alan Cooper told staff that 鈥渢his is a great start to a new and successful future for the business鈥�.
Hewlett is contracted to be on site until 2015, and the scope of works includes earthworks, roads and drainage.
The Priors Hall project is transforming a mostly derelict and abandoned site on the eastern flank of Corby to create a community of over 5,000 homes. Hewlett had already been working on other aspects of the project since 2010.
Supporting facilities already on the site include the new 拢30m Corby Business Academy, designed by Foster + Partners, and Corby Enterprise Centre. In addition to on-site community, health and education facilities, the development of Priors Hall is ensuring the progress of key strategic infrastructure projects such as the Corby Northern Orbital Road.
