Affordable housing specialist Kier Partnership Homes has moved from Beecham Business Park in Aldridge to new, larger premises at the Tungsten building at the business park, off junction 4 of the M42 near Solihull.
Kier has purchased the building for occupation by Kier Partnership Homes and one of the Group鈥檚 regional contractors, Kier Moss, demonstrating Kier鈥檚 long-term commitment to the Midlands.
The decision to relocate both companies to Blythe Valley Park reflects Kier鈥檚 desire to maximise the collective strength and skills of its different businesses by bringing them together under one roof and enabling them to work more closely to offer total solutions to Kier鈥檚 expanding client base.
Kier Partnership Homes managing director, Chris King, commented: 鈥淲e are delighted to have moved into modern premises that are ideally located for us to reach our core client group and develop our business across Central England, demonstrating our commitment to the region. The Tungsten building is perfectly kitted out to meet our needs and having this additional space provides the chance to give our local clients easier access to the services we offer.鈥
Gary Pearce, regional director for Kier Moss, added: 鈥淲ith our increasing presence in Birmingham and the West Midlands we had outgrown our existing premises. Acquiring the Tungsten building shows that we are committed to long-term investment in the area, and will provide staff with a modern and flexible working environment that has excellent communications across the West Midlands and easy access to anywhere in the country.鈥
Blythe Valley Park covers an area of 257 acres andis ideally positioned to take advantage of the excellent transport links offered by rail, road and air with easy access to Birmingham International Airport and train station and also motorways M42, M6 Toll and the M1.
