NCC will work with the city of M枚lndal to formulate a detailed proposal for how an attractive new centre can be developed.
NCC was one of a number of companies to have presented proposals. 鈥淲e are proud that the City of M枚lndal regarded our proposal as being the most attractive and we will now implement fundamental studies and analyses to determine the best design for the new city center of M枚lndal,鈥� said regional manager of NCC Property Development Manne Aronsson.
The assignment encompasses approximately 35,000m2 of retail space and about 30,000m2 of housing units, offices above retail buildings and a new parking deck that will straddle the tramline.
The vision is to add an increased metropolitan feel, combined with a mix of offices, retail space and housing, as well as the development of public cityscapes.
